This Thursday 16th November Regent Street will officially unveil its festive lights display. The street will be closed from 4PM until 9PM for the live countdown stage show and shopping evening, enabling visitors to enjoy the festive atmosphere amongst Regent Street’s world-class shops and restaurants.

Designed by James Glancy Design and commissioned by The Crown Estate, the display celebrates Regent Street’s rich festive heritage by referencing one of the street’s first display of Christmas lights in 1954, setting a trend for the rest of London and the UK.

24 hand-crafted spirits will fly the length of Regent Street from BBC in the north to Waterloo Place in the south and over 300,000 LED lights will light up the West End, making it the biggest parade of Christmas lights in London.

More details on the official switch-on event can be found on the Regent Street Facebook Page here.
